Emergency Policies
Your child’s safety is of utmost importance. The Tree House is part of the Walton County emergency notification system and receives notification regarding weather or other emergencies from county officials. Upon their advice, we may ask you to come early to pick up your child from school depending on the nature and severity of the situation. We appreciate your full cooperation in these rare instances.
School Closings: In the event of an emergency or inclement weather, a tropical storm or hurricane, The Tree House follows the lead of the Walton County School District. The Walton County Sheriff’s Department will announce school closings on their website, local radio, and television news media. An email will be sent to all Tree House parents notifying them of any school closings or unscheduled early releases. If we are able, we will also post updates on the school website, via Remind texts, and the official school Facebook page.
